Crop tool
The
crop tool lets you crop an image by dragging over the area you want to keep. The advantage
of using the crop tool is that you can rotate and resize the area as you crop.
- Select the crop tool from the toolbar (C)
- Drag with the crop tool to enclose within a rectangular marquee the portion of the image you want to retain.
- Resize and rotate the rectangular marquee just as you do when transforming objects.
- Double-click inside the selected zone or press return to remove the pixels that are outside the marquee.
